Lawn and Westcott Place Post Offices have been earmarked for closure. Anne Snelgrove will work with the local community to ensure the Post Office Ltd hears their views. Anne said: “These Post Offices are community assets and I will be helping local people put solid arguments to the Post Office about why they should stay open. I have already met with Post Office Ltd and I have been told the plans are not set in stone at this stage, and changes can be made – if the arguments are good enough.”The consultation runs for 6 weeks.
