M4 CLOSED ON SATURDAY NIGHT

The project to replace the bridge between Junctions 16 and 17 of the M4 is nearing completion and the new structure will be installed shortly.

However, it is necessary for the M4 to be closed in both directions from 19:00 on Saturday 25^th April to 10:00 on Sunday 26^th April.

There will also be another closer at 19:00 on Saturday 2^nd May to 10:00 on Sunday 3^rd May.

The recommended diversion for light vehicles is to use the A429 and B4042 between J16 and J17 via Malmesbury.

For heavy vehicles please use the A3102, A4 and A350 between J16 and J17 via Calne and Chippenham.
